A romantic escape in the Menorcan countryside, Secret Garden is a beautiful farm house, set on 22 acres of land. A majestic red haired manor encased in ivy and constructed in 1847 sits center stage on the land and is surrounded by exquisite gardens with a variety of flora and fauna, as well as a pool, original well, art studio and guest house.

Upon arriving at the property on the winding drive, guests cross a spacious patio and greeting area to the home’s main entry through a large foyer with painted white wood beam detailed ceilings leading way to the arched entries of both the formal dining room and living areas. The living area off to the left is occupied by two sofas which mirror one another and enjoy a large fireplace in between. Opposite this sitting area is a TV room with double chaise lounge, flat screen TV and bookcases lining the walls. The neighboring dining room has seating for up to eighteen guests and is flooded with natural light through the series of arched windows running parallel to the table. Serving this dining space is the kitchen with ample counter space, farmhouse sink and breakfast table for up to eight. Completing this level is a full laundry room and powder room.

Up the staircase, located just off the home’s foyer, guests will find the master suite with king size bed and en suite bathroom with full shower and deep soaking tub. A small office joins the room to a large terrace, adorned with comfortable sofas and breathtaking views. Two additional guest bedrooms may also enjoy this space, each with two twin size beds and their own en suite bathrooms with shower/tub combinations.

The third and uppermost level has two additional guest bedrooms, each furnished with a split king bed and en suite bathroom. One bathroom offers a shower and tub, while the other has a shower only. On the same floor is a living space with three twin size beds for staff as well as a bathroom with shower.

The guest home is truly a sight to behold with hidden architectural details and design elements throughout. Entering off the long stretch of terraces which sits adjacent to the space, white wood and stone walls line the space and are highlighted by the floods of light from the wall of sliding glass doors. Inside, guests will find four split king guest beds, with three bathrooms, plenty of closet space and desks. Those staying in the guest house may also enjoy a comfortable living space, comprised of a living area with cozy white sofas and chaise lounges, all of which enjoy a view of the land surrounding and the flat screen TV. The kitchen sits just beside this room and offers everything a guest might need, in addition to a breakfast bar for eight and breakfast table for four. Outside a large al fresco dining table is capable of seating up to twelve guests, and the sectional sofa allows for after dinner cocktails and effortless conversation.

Ideal for events, the rest of the grounds offer a plethora of spaces for entertaining. A large palapa sits overhead an area full of seating and stage space, which overlooks the gardens, pool, ivy covered well and star fountain.
