Beaches
Turks and Caicos villsa offer some of the best beaches in the world. Provo’s beaches are some of the finest – at 28 miles of white sand, the beaches in this region (Grace Bay, Leeward, and Bight) are unrivaled. Looking for seclusion – try Taylor or Sapodilla Bay beaches.
The island of Grand Turk offers Governor’s Beach, Cockburn Town and Cruise Center Beaches. The east side of the island sees the trade winds and offer good beachcombing opportunities.
North Caicos is made up of wetlands on the southern coast. There are not many inhabitants on this island, so be prepared for seclusion and peace at this island’s beach offerings.
Middle Caicos is far more remote and wild in scenery than other islands. The adventurers will delight in the dramatic cliffs of Mudjin Harbor. Bambarra Beach offers shallower waters and excellent beachcombing.
South Caicos is relatively unaffected by tourism. The south side of this island features limestone precipices that offer fantastic hiking. The beaches see more weather than others throughout the country. You’ll find miles of coastline to yourself on this island. Long Beach is one of the standout features here.
Salt Cay is a tiny island offering a big punch with magnificent coastline. Beaches are more rugged and weather-beaten. North Bay is the best swimming location while Balfour Town is more scenic and has very calm water comparatively. Salt Cay also offers great beachcombing opportunities.
Golf
The Provo Golf & Country Club (located on the island of Providenciales) is a feature Karl Litten designed 18-hole course. This course offers challenging tests for event he experienced golfers. Provo Golf Club hosts lush greens and natural tropical plants. Natural limestone punctuates the par 72 course. Water features can be found on the front nine while the back nine features lake holes and is home to flamingos, pelicans and heron. This full-service club offers premium Taylor Made club rental, short range warm-up area, practice chipping, putting greens, and tennis courts.
Provo Golf Club’s pro-shop hosts Fairways Bar & Grill that offers the best breakfast and lunch menu on the island. Tee times can be booked out 90 days in advance.
Waterloo Golf Club was built on the grounds of the Office of the Governor and features nine holes. This par 54 course was designed by the Governor and built by island volunteers – including the Governor himself. This course is located just steps from the Cruise Ship Center. Tee times can be arranged by simply calling the Governor’s Office.
Shopping
Turks and Caicos vacation rentals are near shopping areas that offer everything from souvenirs to local crafts to upscale jewelry and boutiques. Provo and Grand Turk both offer good selections, however all islands vary. Check out the shopping at each of your destination locations. Luxury and upscale shopping can be found in Grace Bay. Many shops offer duty-free items.

- Year round weather is lovely and temperatures hover around 85°F.
