Buttonwood Reef and Seabiscuit Cottage is a beautiful Jamaica luxury villa rental. This new villa and cottage face the ocean. Entry to this villa is through the private compound of Hermosa Cove Boutique Resort.
When entering the villa, guests will walk through a dramatic Jequitiba wood ceiling entranceway and an oversized pivot door. This home has an excellent collection of artisan pieces that represent the best Jamaican artists including Dougall, Mara Made, Pinto Pottery, and Dready Art.
This Jamaica villa and cottage rental are the epitomai of ocean edge living. The sitting room is sunken which benefits from wide openings to the veranda. There is a custom artisanal dining table that is made from one piece of Tamarind that can seat 18 guests. The villa offers an air-conditioned game room that leads to the media room that is equipped with large comfortable sofas and an 85" flat-screen TV.
On the ground floor, there are two bedroom suites. While the upper level of the main villa homes four bedroom suites as well as the Sky Gazing Deck that is furnished with oversized double reclining umbrella chairs, the perfect place to relax and look out to enjoy the surrounding views.
Buttonwood Reef and Seabiscuit Cottage have an incredible outside living area with a shallow entry infinity edge pool that has a Baja ledge with sun shelves, a separate hot tub that fits 14 guests, and a plunge pool located in the cottage garden.
The sandy beach to the east can be seen from The Almond Tree terrace that has a barbecue. The lower terrace with sun loungers, a 3 pin putting green, and numerous other quiet areas for peace and tranquility are available on the property. Next to the villa there is the small sandy beach of Hermosa Cove Boutique Resort. It is the perfect place for swimming in the calm, reef protected bay.
Seabiscuit cottage has its own private enterance or along the seaside path, and it sits in its own private garden giving guests a secluded space to hangout. This areas is also a great location to gather with other guests on the water's edge giving guests an incredible dining experience while looking over the beautifully lit clear, shallow waters below. The cottage also has a small sitting area and service kitchen with two ground floor bedroom rooms and on the upper level a master suite with a large balcony. There is a small lawn, two covered gazebos, and a plunge pool surrounding the cottage. There is also a gate to Christopher's restaurant and the small water sport's beach area of Hermosa Cove.
